Haven Games operates After Hours, a multiplayer party game available as a Discord Activity. This policy describes the current version of the game. Questions and privacy requests: mikahvvind@gmail.com.

Information we process

How information is used and shared

We use this information to authenticate players, synchronize games, display profiles, manage turns and departures, limit excessive requests, and respond to support or privacy requests. Other room members can see your profile, participation and game contributions. Votes and Never Have I Ever responses are hidden from other players until reveal; the server processes them before reveal. Custom prompts and rules are shared with the room. Do not submit sensitive information about yourself or others.

After Hours does not access or record Discord voice or video calls. It currently has no advertising, tracking analytics, or sale of personal information. Information is processed through Discord for sign-in and Activity delivery, Cloudflare for the current network tunnel, and Gmail when you contact our support address. These services also process information under their own policies: Discord, Cloudflare, and Google. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours. We may disclose information when required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to address abuse or security incidents.

Storage and retention

The current game server stores rooms and sessions in memory rather than a game database. Restarting the server clears them. Rooms are removed after approximately two hours without activity, or when the final player leaves. Server sessions expire after approximately one day; request-limit entries expire after approximately one minute, with cleanup running periodically. An active room can remain until everyone leaves or it becomes inactive.

Leaving removes your player entry and current response, but does not necessarily remove earlier custom rules, prompts, or turn history from the room. Those remain until removed through game controls or the room expires. Avatar responses may be cached for up to an hour. Network-provider records and copies held by other players are outside the game server’s in-memory retention.

The browser uses session storage for your sign-in token and room code so the Activity can reconnect. It normally lasts for the tab’s session. We do not add advertising cookies. Support emails are retained as needed to respond, resolve the matter, and meet applicable obligations.

Your choices and requests

You can skip prompts, leave a room, close the Activity, and revoke the app’s authorization through Discord’s settings. To request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold, email mikahvvind@gmail.com with the subject “After Hours privacy request.” Include your Discord user ID or username and, if available, the room code and approximate time. We may request reasonable information to verify your request; never send passwords, access tokens, or identity documents. We will address requests as required by applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, request portability, or complain to your privacy regulator.

Adults and updates

After Hours is intended for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us. We use access controls and limited retention to reduce risk, but no service can guarantee complete security. We will update this page when our practices change and identify the revision date above.
